children questions

I wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding my daughter... I have a 7 year old daughter (only child) and live on Longvale Dr. There do not seem to be any kids around her age on my street, but I have noticed several riding bikes and playing on other streets. I would like to get my daughter introduced to other children in our neighborhood and was wondering if you have families that are involved in play dates or anything similiar.
The other question is inquiring if there are any teenagers in the neighboorhood that babysit. Can the question be asked in the next newsletter so that the babysitters can have their name & number and times they are willing to offer their services? Or maybe I could post my name and number indicating that I was looking for a babysitter for occasional evenings? Please let me know if you can help me with either situation...Thank you. Jennifer
