Has anyone either received mail from or been approached by a salesperson stating that your pool timer, thermostat, household appliances, etc. are not Y2K compliant. BE AWARE!! I have heard from coworkers who live in other communities within Phoenix that they have been. These salepersons are scam artists. They look to charge in some cases up to 5,000 to make your pool, air conditioner/heater, TV, phone, etc Y2K compliant. All of these items are already Y2K compliant. There is no need to make them. If you are unsure please check with a repair shop, pool shop, or the manufacturer of the item. Don't let these people take your money!!!
