Recently a concerned Westown neighbor wrote in regarding some fires that are occuring. Please read the below memo for more information, and beware of people hanging out in the alleys.


In the past few weeks there have been 3 fires set in the alley between Dahlia and Windrose on the west side of 31st Ave. One was before school started and my son saw it and put it out. This past Saturday, my husband kept smelling smoke and finally found a second fire that was just starting. He also found another spot that looked like a fire might have gone out before it caught. We assume that kids are starting these fires but have not seen anyone when the fires were discovered.
