What's the latest on that barrier that blocked the intersection at Third Avenue and Colter? Our neighborhood street coordinator with the city, Latetia Vargas, told me last summer that there would be a petition of neighborhood homeowners before it was put up permanently, but I haven't heard anything since then.
I really hated the temporary barrier because of the way it divided the neighborhood and forced drivers to turn onto Central without a light (because it blocked access to Missouri from all streets south of Colter) and I wanted the chance to vote against it!
