I'm just curious why the Board only meets on a quarterly basis. Personally as a former board member in my last community, there is enough going on that requires the Boards attention to warrant a monthly meeting. Here's a thought, maybe if they met more regularly some of the issues we have could be addressed and remedied - for instance, the landscaping around the community, trashy yards, parking on the street, speed, vandalism, renters. I have never heard of a board meeting quarterly. Also, what committees exist i.e., newsletter, architectural review, landscape, safety, etc. If there's not an opportunity for the residents to get involved how can anyone expect things to change. When is the board election to be held? |

Well, her's the thing....it costs 80/hr to use the school for a meeting, which is ok with me. When we were holding monthy meetings the turn out got as low as 3 people!! That included my wife!!! Now, 80/hr for 3 people is NOT worth it, so we changed to quarterly meetings. We don't realize what problems the community is having if people don't attend the meetings, so we have NO idea what the issues are unless people submit complaints. We need to have a much better turn out than 3-10 people to justify a monthly meeting. That turn-out tells the board that there are no issues in the community. Hopefully with this website up we will have more involvement and the board members will be better informed on the issues in the community. And, if we feel that a meeting is warranted, we will hold one prior to a quarterly date. For committees, we have the architechtural and a social. But the social committee is not fully staffed. We only have one member in the community who has volunteered to serve on the committee. If you have ideas for a committee bring it to our attention and if there is enough participation we will start it. By Michael |

Election
The next election will be around October if I am not mistaken. At that thime I believe there will be two seats up for election. By Michael |
