Regarding Clean Sweep Dumpster

Posted in: Dobson Woods
Im new to this neighborhood and was wondering about the clean sweep containers? I was told by one neighbor this was for each home owner in Dobson Woods to use, I was also told by another neighbor near the dumbsters that the 6 Dumbsters were only for resident on that street. Can anyone share the correct information with me. Thanks!
Clean Sweep

No problem...
Clean Sweep is a program that the City of Mesa offers. The dumpsters will be on Monte/Spruce for 3 days for the residents on these two streets to use. If anyone would like to arrange for Clean Sweep for their street, call 644-2688. One of the other residents on our street has arranged this for us for the past four years, and we greatly appreciate it :-)
A little side note --- In April, the Property Tax initiative comes to ballot. If the Tax is voted down, Clean Sweep will be one of the programs cut... along with libraries, museums, etc.

Thank you for the information, it makes much more sense now. I was told incorrectly or misunderstood and due to that I am guilty of adding to one of those dumpsters, I hope this doesnt cause a burden on anyone on those streets if so please let me know. My understanding was that it was for all residents of Dobson Woods and I will not make the mistake again.
Budget Cuts = (NO CLEAN SWEEP)

All,

I wanted to point out that the clean sweep program is being cut. It will no longer be available after March due to budget cuts.

Another reason why we all need to closely examine the property tax issue in April.

Other programs on the cutting block include
1) Gang Prevention.
2) Neighborhood out reach (This Web Site)
3) Road Maintainance.
4) Police and Fire Support.
5) Library's.
6) Downtown mesa meusuems.
7) etc........
