Vandalism in common areas of PWR

Posted in: Parkwood Ranch
I am concerned by the amount of vandalism going on in the common areas of Parkwood Ranch!

We have recently had several instances involving the community pool and sports court in the neighborhood where I live (DeHaven). Our neighbors are aware and doing a great job with neighborhood watch - we have been able to collect documentation of who is violating these areas.

The Parkwood Ranch Neighborhood Watch leaders from the 13 different neighborhoods are staying in touch and keeping each other up to date on what is happening throughout our community's neighborhoods.

Do any of the other neighbors have information to contribute?

Vandalism

I did not report this to Officer Sollar, but I think the neighbors need to be aware that during spring break I caught a young man climbing up the wall at Patterson Elementary. He was about half-way up when I yelled at him and asked what he was doing. He quickly climbed down and rode off on his bike, but I know that the PTO is having to fix and repaint some of the outdoor equipment because of vandalism done by skateboarders and other vandals.

Shouldn't all vandalism be reported to the Mesa Police. This is the only way we will get more patrolling in the future.

Alan,

Make sure you report all vandalism to the Mesa Police. This is the only way they know how much patrolling we need.
