Hello Fellow Residents:
I am hoping to clear up that area where the old playground used to be at the back of the Twigwood ball fields and which harbors overgrown grass and weeds right now. I am researching the protocol for removing the railroad ties, but thought the residents of our community might be interested in using the pea gravel in their own gardens, walkways or planters on a first-come first-serve basis. There is also garden liner under the gravel, but after all this time I am not sure what usable condition that will be in. Our lawn crew is unable to mow that area due to the pea gravel and railroad ties. Once they are removed, GreenCare can then mow that area with the rest of the fields. Should look better, right?
Please don't drive your car down there; perhaps you can use wheel barrows or dolly carts or kids wagons to help you get the gravel home.
