Welcome to the neighborhood, we are delighted to have you as a neighbor. On or by this time at your closing, you should have been furnished with a copy of the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions; the document that guides our living here in Pleasant Place. They are in place to promote social harmony and protect our property value. If you do not have a copy, please see one of the officers to get one.
The constitution and by-laws were adopted to set forth the goals, purpose, duties, and direction of PPNA. Each member of PPNA will receive a copy of the constitution and by-laws.
These covenants are to run with the land and shall be binding on all parties and all persons claiming under them for a period of thirty years from the date these covenants are recorded, unless an instrument signed by the majority of the owners of the lots has been recorded. Enforcement shall be by proceeding at law or in equity against any person or persons violating or attempting to violate any covenant, either to restrain the violation or to recover damage.
The Pleasant Place Neighborhood Association (PPNA) is an organization of residents working to enhance and preserve the quality of life in the Pleasant Place community. The association was created out of a desire to maintain the sense of community bond and a need to have organzied input into city decision-making. Membership is open to all residents in the neighborhood in accordance with our By-Laws.
