I know there are a lot of people who want to help but can not afford to give money. I am collecting diapers for the Katrina victims. Right now at Walgreens the walgreens brand diapers are on sale for $4 then they give you a mail in rebate for $4 which makes them free. I am planning on taking these on Saturday night to either the red cross down town or the salvation army. If you would like to donate some diapers;or if you don't have time to go get them you can leave cash and I will go but the diapers; you can leave these on my porch I plan on leaving @ 5:30 Saturday night. Try Salvation Army

I read in the news the Red Cross wasn't able to accept in kind donations. People were bring donations of diapers, food, clothes, etc. to the Reunion Center for hurrican victims, but because the Red Cross couldn't accept them , they were left outside & Dallas's homeless people were going through them (they're in need just as much I guess). The Red Cross needs monetary donations. I'd try the Salvation Army.

Help Wylie Help Our Guests

I have just heard that 50-100 people are being housed in Wylie at the old Supermarket and the Armory. Lets take care of those people first and show them that Wylie is prepared and generous.

Where is the Old Supermarket and the Armory? The city website has some info about Wylie helping but nothing about where these builds are that I could find.
