Anybody hear about the crossfire shooting on Poplar Vista last week?

A guest of one of our neoghbors was a witness as he was driving behind the car that was shot at.  Someone in the home came running out and was shooting at the car driving down the road.  Keep in mind this was mid Sunday afternoon when any of our children could have been on their bicycles etc. 

Passengers got out of the car and were shooting back, bullets flying everywhere.

No one was apparently hit but police responded and subsequently interviewed our neighbor's guest and others.  Out president of the HOA was notified by several neighbors but he has yet to inform the community.  He says he's waiting on the police report.

In the meantime, we thought you should know that this situation is ongoing and thought to be drug/gang related.  Keep your children off the street on Poplar Vista and bombard your board president demanding to know why he hasn't kept you informed.  By the way, when is the last time you viewed the HOA website.  The budget that went up by 10% is not available to view.  What's up with that?  It's our money, shouldn't we demand to know how it's being spent and why it went up by 10%?  Call Richard Redd.
