Hey,

1Sky is a national umbrella group over many allies and coalition partners including several groups on local levels mostly those of whom are not traditional environmental groups, but are made up of faith based groups, labor unions, and even mothers that are advocates for their kids in protecting the world for them.

The new President (whoever it may be), needs to take a strong stance on global warming solutions so that we avoid the worst effects of global warming and therefore now is the time to work on these issues! We are focusing on the national elections to make the biggest impacts. We can do this now, and we can do this together!

There is a community kick-off meeting here in Des Moines, IA on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 6pm at the East Side Library located at 2559 Hubble Ave; Meeting Room (kids are welcome!)
