My dad didn't have access to his computer this week. But had he been given a chance to write or call me::: Do you know the whole Aquarius song? I'm more into the contemporary stuff, but have heard it and thought it was a cool song.
TP, I did go to the link and found it a good read. It's probably a good assessment too. That argument? was made on George Bush' behalf several times too. You know::: how can a good conservative outspend three predacessors and still call himself or be called a good conservative, though liberally one way and the other? But in his case, it was hard to discern if they were referencing GW or Cheney. Clinton signed the biggest tax cut next to GW and had some seriously conservative trade ideas. Off point here but:::If you like that stuff ? Rent the movie "W" I loved Josh Brolin's rendition of the man and Richard Dryfus' of Cheney. Much better a film than Moore's 911. For me, if they ever do one of Obama, I'd love it if Stone does that one too. How did they not do one of Clinton anyway? Nixon was super good. The one with that "The Box" guy. I thought the one with Anthony Hopkins was boring. But thanks again for the link. Lucy

Oops BB Yeah that wasabout him. Huh, I forgot that one. But it didn't catch me as much because they didn't really do it about him per se. WJC:::I'd have to call that a parody on the lighter side of reality. I meant one with all his womanizing history, the Lewinsky thing etc. Ruby Ridge, Waco, the whole shootin match(no pun intended)His Mogadishu mess was dealt with under kid gloves I think. Done the way they did W. I forget:::who was in that one. Wag the dog? Lucy |
