I didn't say Ronnie didn't deserve one at all, just not in the face the greatest reformation and reformer of communism in world history. I realize Reagan did some fine tireless work scaring the commies since the 50s, but regardless of who we are and what America stood for; anyone can see how significant that was for Gorby to even suggest to the presidium/politburo, etc:::that they relinquish territories to democracy, reform their whole system of governance and follow Reagan's lead on nuclear disarmamnent. But for Reagan, anyone who had eyes and ears had to see how significant that was::: even if they do not like Reagan. And:::FOR THAT:::Reagan deserved a Nobel prize if anyone lately. Eliminating nukes is, was and always will be a big deal.

I don't dislike Gore, but still am baffled why he got one for presenting GW stats.  Especially since it's really not provable. As W put it finally, "Global Change." nor warming is at hand. Then Gore proved to be an energy waster with a huge carbon footprint.
