Does the Tea Party hold itself out to be be a racist group of people?
I haven't heard anyone who represent themselves as part of the Tea Party group say they are a racist group. I would therefore say, The Tea Party is not a racist group, period
Throughout America we hear daily of groups of patriotic citizens who are all the same (skin) doing good for all kinds of people in all kinds of situations. The make-up of the group does not make it a racist group. The reason for the group is what determines the group label. Therefore I see these groups for the most part saying they are for things to make all of America better.
As The Tea Party continue to put the desires of their heart out into the universe, America gets better day by day. Thanks to the Tea Party and to all other groups, and individuals who are claiming wealth and health for America. May the force be with you all.

While the Tea Party may not endorse racism, they've done nothing to denounce it either. Many well documented racial things have happened at their little get togethers and in their name. If it's not a image they want, only they can change it.
