We have seen the number of advertisers decline on this sign. When a new advertiser is seen, we send a letter from the coalition, letting the advertiser know that we will not patronize them. We also mail protest postcards to the advertiser. So far this has worked.
Most of the local advertisers have pulled their ads from the sign.

I see a long list of companies / business - but do not understand why you have listed them... Please expalin.
Is this a list of people you have tried to stop from putting signs up in the neighborhood?

The names/addresses are of
businesses that have advertised on the
'electronic billboard' that is located at NE 28th and Broadway. In our local newsletters we had been asking for people whom dislike the 'electronic billboard' to contact the businesses and let them know that you dislike this form of advertising. The list was placed on the web site for people to reference. Many of the advertisers have already pulled their ads from the sign. The sign, at this point in time seems to display public intrest 'ads'. We are still working on this issue with the owner of the sign.
