Thanks to the nearly 100 neighbors who attended the meeting of the Grant Park Neighborhood Association on 9/29, QFC should have an even clearer picture of our neighborhood's serious concerns about QFC's liquor license application for its store at 1835 N.E. 33rd. GPNA adopted resolutions opposing the liquor license application on three grounds:
1. QFC should not operate 24 hours a day in this residential neighborhood;
2. QFC should not sell alcohol after 11:00 p.m. in this residential neighborhood; and
3. QFC has not offered plans to minimize the effects of late-night and alcohol-related problems including traffic, noise and litter.
