56 who don't care

retention pond vs pond

The pond on Waynebrown is a retention pond. Unlike the other ponds it only gets water from ground run off. When water levels go down it becomes more stagnent. The fountain has helped a great deal, and it is probably more clean now than it used to be. It will never be like the other entrance ponds. As algea eating fish grow it may be more clean as well. If we had a drought it would probably dry up. This pond was not an option when the subdivision was built.

If people would read the information provided by the trustees they would see BBF operates off a very tight budget. It was provided in a very professional way in the newsletter provided to everyone. When someone asks what have they done for me lately, they must not be able to read, or are so stupid they can't follow a spreadsheet. When people don't pay their dues, there is that much less funding to do maintenance and make improvements.

It is very simple.

Don't let these 56 families keep the rest of the 300 from living in a great neighborhood. Make them pay what they agreed to when they bought here.

56 x 250 = $14,000. When the budget is built around total compliance you can't afford not to get compliance.

We all want to make sure when someone drives through BBF they see quality.
Post Names

Does the HOA have the right to post the names of those who have not paid? I think this should be done so that all of the responsible residents could see who is not paying. It only makes sense that if people see they may not be held responsible they may choose to follow those who can get away with it.

You can go to other websites that show who has paid their taxes. Why should the HOA not be able to post in their website who has not paid their dues. Both are written into the purchase contract of the home.
Your point?

What is the point of this message?

If we want to stay here for more than three years should we all not pay the dues we are RESPONSIBLE for?

This sounds like someone saying I can do whatever I want and hide, then I can just walk away.

Please provide more info in the intent of this message.

I would like to know just how much respect my neighbors have for me? If they are not paying, then they don't care. They are taking advantage of those who do.

How can people not care?

BBF has a so much going for it and all of our home values will be increasing because of it. If you look at the zoo expansion and the fact that the Zoo is taking over and doubling the size of Wyandot Lake. Couple that with the golf courses and shopping and easy access to Dublin and Polaris. We're basically in one of the best spots in Columbus. And hopefully we'll be able to make the Powell Entrance even nicer with the ODOT work. Pay your dues, cut your grass, eliminate your weeds and you'll be fine.

By the way what's up with the house on Big Bear Ave that is not cutting it's grass. The one across from the retention area/green space. I see no for sale sign so what's the story?

Lastly does anyone know who cleaned up the car accident mess. I saw it here and then it was gone. I wonder if it was a resident. If so they are owed a Thank you. Anyone know what happened. The mess looked like it had to be a bad wreck.
