Flood Insurance
We got a home equity loan just to redo our kitchen and bath. In order to do that we had to buy flood insurance. All we needed was enough for those projects. The way FEMA set this up the only part that's covered is the kitchen and bath. I have lived in this house 23 yrs and my Grandmother lived here since 1935 and she spoke with the previous owner of her home which is next door to mine and there has been no flood in our area for over 100 years. So we are paying this insane insurance for something that has not taken place in this area. This is unconstitutional as far as I am concerned and a rip-off by yet another buraucracy.
