Hello all and a hardy welcome to all our new neighbors!!! Remember, we have a suggestion box in the clubhouse. The best suggestions come with names & phone numbers. Reason being? Suggestions are good, but they often need ?“tweaking?”. The best suggestions go along with the people who follow them thru.

Basketball Net. Let?’s start with that. Last fall, I made an agreement with some of the neighborhood kids that they could have a basketball net in the tennis court. The upside of that was that it would be away from cars & houses. The catch is that the kids had to pick up their own trash. So, was I being na?¯ve to think they?’d actually comply? They seem to look forward to basketball but getting them to pickup their own trash was an exercise in futility. For right now, the Net is locked down. Sorry kids, I was pulling for you.

Tennis Net. I hope to have a new Tennis Net installed soon. The existing net appears damaged beyond repair which is a direct result of people sitting on it. These nets are expensive to replace & a damaged net reflects badly on the neighborhood. It?’s posted not to sit on the net, so that can serve as everybody?’s 1st warning.

Swimming Pool. Ideally, everybody that wanted passes would have visited the clubhouse when I held hours,,, many thanks to everybody that made that effort. As normal, many more people are asking for passes now that it?’s hot. I?’m in no position to drop what I?’m doing & fill the request immediately. I will schedule the requests, but call in advance and understand it might be a day before that request is handled, maybe more.

Football, soccer etc. Please take all those sports to the open fields and away from the houses. I often get complaints the balls that hit a person?’s house or car.

$20 fine for litter. One of my overall frustrations is that kids don?’t toss their trash into the dumpster. If I, or another board, member see trash left on the ground then it?’s a $20 fine.
Illegal Dumping is still $100. Use the dumpsters for daily household trash only! No large appliances, furniture, building materials, Move-In or Move-Out trash - Daily household only.





Thank you to everyone who cleans up after his or her dog. It is your obligation as a pet owner and required under New Castle County Law. There are children running everywhere. The common areas are meant for all of us as are our back yards meant for relaxing and enjoying. Be courteous and discard the pet waste daily & appropriately. Offenders can be reported to the County Complaints at #395-5555.

If you don?’t want the Shoppers Guide delivery every week then you can call #323-8581 or #884-0652 or email egoldste@gannett.com . Just an FYI, they don?’t necessarily listen the first time around, it might require a 2nd request on your part to have the paper stopped. I?’ve actually complained to our County Rep, George Smiley #395-8347. I think its litter; the Shoppers Guide thinks it their form of free speech.

How does this community feel about Henry?’s level of service? Would you like to see more or less? Is he too soft or too abrupt? Would other residents want to help volunteer and if so how?

Periodically, Henry & I review Princetonwoods Huntclub for property compliances. I?’ve done this process 3 times and each time there are approximately 50 odd violations noted. This is an important process for PWHC as these reviews keep property looking sharp.
