As of October 14, 2011, the following information was transmitted via email between the Town of Jupiter (TOJ) and Palm Beach County PBC.
"The schedule for 181st St & 182nd Road North Watermain Extension. In house (TOJ) review of the contract and drawings are underway, upon receipt of any comments we will make changes prior to advertising. We will schedule for 30 day bidding starting 9/23/11 or 9/30/11 at the latest. This would give us bid numbers by the last week in November."
When asked Commissioner Marcus' assistant as to a public forum meeting with residents, the response was "Yes, once we have confirmation of the contract amount we (TOJ) will schedule the public information and Public Hearing meetings."
Does anyone have any comments, suggestions or ideas that they would like to present when these meetings are to be held? I think it would be good to formulate before hand any concerns so we as a group are aware of all happenings. I look forward to hearing from any and everyone in the community.
