Perhaps fostering a balanced ecological community, that has occured for millennia without human intervention, will help improve the health of your pond. I would suggest going for walk or hike, preferably near a native prairie or wetland remnant. Halfway through your walk/hike stop for a few minutes. Listen to the birds, frogs, insects, the wind. Don't look at your phone. Walk close to a flowering plant. Stop and get closer. Place your face within inches of the flower and look to see what is happening in a plant community. This might give you some ideas.
