Here is how to post a photo slideshow:

1. Register here: www.kodakgallery.com

2. Upload your photos into a slideshow.

3. Start the slideshow.

4. COPY the URL (the slideshow's web address)

5. Click on ''Add-a-Link'' under the Community Links section of the website.

6. Enter the title of the link in the Name of Link to be Displayed box and PASTE the link you COPIED into Web Site Address box.

7. Press SAVE.

For those of you who are really advanced, you can use www.photobucket.com to post short videos taken by newer digital cameras.

Update on posting photos

A friend has informed us that the best way to create a link to any Kodak Gallery slideshow you create for the QVHOA website is to get your link by following these steps.

1. Once you have created your slideshow on the Kodak Gallery website, click on the Share Album tab.

2. A page will pop up that asks you for the email address of someone you'd like to share the album with.

3. Enter your own address and send the album to yourself.

4. When you get the email with the link to view the slideshow, go to the bottom of the email and see the paragraph that reads ''If you can't see the link, copy and paste the following directly into your browser:''.

5. Copy that link, and paste it as the link that will direct users of the QVHOA website to your slideshow.

Posting photographs

Rose Mary Hatten has brought it to our attention that only the ''site administrator'' can add links to the Add-a-Link area of the site.

Therefore, please use the Discussion Forum to post links to your slideshows while we work out another way to do it.
