On our street we don't have such a problem with cars speeding, but ATV's and dirt bikes. Some are kids riding them, others are adults. They speed down the street at 45+ during the day while kids are playing. Why is it that it takes a child being hit before anybody cares??

I know that speed bumps are probably out of the question given the costs associated with them but there has to be something done to get the speed down on the streets. There is not one sign indicating the speed limit in the entire community. I find that odd actually. I also think the ATV and dirt bikes in the community is completely out of hand. Its amazing that noone has died before Saturday night. I would hope that the HOA takes a hard look at options and does something soon.

Meghan is right, unlicensed motorcycles and three-wheelers are a huge hassle.

Last month a four-wheeler was tearing around Castlegate Blvd at 1:00 am, I called the Sherrif but no action was taken.

I have been in contact with the county since this past summer about speed signs. It's like pulling teeth! But, I am still working on it.
