I am requesting more lighting in the community. The main focus should be by the mailbox's and the entryway's to the community. A while back I was told by Karla Sanders from Kachina that it was a law that pinal would not allow lights at the entrances. This is not true all the communities around us have entryway lighting. It is very hard to see at night as it is with no street lights. All we need is a few simple spot lights this is not asking for much especially when you are talking about the saftey of the residents.

Lighting
If I am not mistaken, there is only one entrance into the neighborhood that is not lit. That is Castlegate off of Schnepf. When I spoke to the county, they told me that they are in the planning stages of widening Schnepf, so they did not want to put in a new streetlight at that entrance until they widened the road. I am working with LandMark to get lighting at our monuments so that we can at least see where the entrances are at this point.

lighting
Michael,
What we are all asking for is in fact a spot light shining on the castlegate signs. As far as a street light I understand this is not the HOA responsibility, but a spot light is ideal like the other communities. thanks for your respose

Lighting
The HOA is still waiting for a response from LandMark, our landscapers. They are pricing regular lighting as well as solar. Once they have a breakdown, they will present that to the board for a vote.
