When we moved here in September 2006 the sidewalk in front of our house was cracked and marked with red paint. During the walk thru Providence said it would be about 2 weeks before it was replaced. I waited several months to contact Providence and then was told they have no way of knowing when it will be replaced. Any ideas or solutions for this?
Sidewalks

I would think your best bet would be to keep in contact with Providence. Speek with supervisors and don't take no for an answer. Keep in mind also, small cracks do appear in concrete, its not abnormal to have a few small cracks.

Cracks

Your builder should have that convered in your warranty. Check your warranty guide for standards, etc. Unless the cracks exceed industry standards, they are not likely to replace it. Unfortunately the utility paint is in an ''easement area'' and is not part of the warranty. Utility companies can paint in the easement area all day long with no restrictions.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions. The builder did say they would be replaced. We are talking LARGE cracks and a bunch of them. I will try and contact the builder again about it.
