Block Watch

Our block watch involvement isnt big enough to have any captains or anything like that yet. At this point, I am the one who schedules the meetings and makes arrangements. I would like to get another meeting scheduled in the near future, but I am hoping for a larger participation than 1 resident, that's no joke....1 resident showed up for the last meeting.

Well count me in. Maybe, if the board bought those signs you can use them to announce a Block Watch meeting. Might help to get the word out if you put them out a week before or so. Just a thought.

I am the block watch on my street because I am home most of the time. We had a problem the last few times cause we were not notified untill the next day or later. Hopefully Kachina gets their stuff together someday.

Be proactive

I have noticed lately a lot of houses in our neighborhood have not been turning on their porch lights at night. It leaves our neighborhood really dark and vulnerable. Also why is it that people are leaving there garage doors open. This is just asking for trouble. We all need to be proactive in keeping crime at bay!
