Thanks for recommending Welcome All Pets on San Tan Blvd; since we recently had a very, very bad experience with a local vet. Our 15 week old male pup died and it has been a week and our vet still doesn't know why he died and we spent $1200.00. I am picking up his records tomorrow and going to ask her again any further thoughts as to why he died after receiving his 3rd set of vaccines. My research tells me it was his 3rd set of vaccines. We shall see the outcome tomorrow. We are devestated since our golden died 5 months prior at the age of 12 yrs old and this was are first puppy again in all these years.

Oh I am so sorry! That's horrible. I will say I no longer personally recommend the QC Vet as stated in an earlier post here. They've had a change over of vets and I will actually be leaving there myself. |

The vet I went to was not QC it was another in town. We had been with QC, Dr. Carrie and she was wonderful; but I choice to stay with the vet that my daughter-in-law had started with the litter at 3 days old. A lesson learned. I did go with our new pup, sister of our Samson who passed to Welcome All Pets and Dr. Wooten was wonderful. She took additional precautions when giving our little girl her final vaccines; using Benadryl and said to call if she shows any reactions, so far we are good.
Spoke to owner of Veterinary and he was extremely sorry about our loss and said he has reached out to Merck regarding the reaction; but he still had no answers as to why. I just have to get closure, our little man will be in our hearts forever.
Thanks to all for your kind words! |
