Rangeview Neighborhood Association

na

Rangeview combines a rural atmosphere with the proximity of the city. It sits on the outer limits of Denver and close to the commercial side of Aurora, halfway in both. The houses are distinct custom and semi-custom homes built from the 1960's to the 1990's. The zoning is RS-4- large lots with some houses built on two lots, leaving plenty of landscaping or fields between. Ranch, solar and southwestern styles dominate.

Long ago, Rangeview was a field of broom corn. It still sustains some of the wildlife that like to roam here: rabbit, fox, skunk, red-winged blackbirds and once-in-awhile an eagle. Colorado wildflowers and noxious weeds co-exist in the small fields and borders. Curbs are non-existant on the Denver side, by design. The Highline Canal makes an attractive, natural border to the north.

Rangeview was named for the view of the front range, but that is now a misnomer.
Membership in the Neighborhood Association is voluntary. Meetings are held 'as-needed' and have usually involved proposed rezoning, new construction and cleanups.
Rangeview participates each year in the Cleanup the Canal during the Keep Denver Beautiful campaign.
