I've lived in Raven Glen for about 7 1/2 yrs and try to be the model neighbor. Yesterday, I had the unfortunate incident of a neighbor ''anonymously'' calling NCC Police Dept., making what they thought was a tip for Domestic Abuse Violence, when in fact, my son was assisting me with my 23 yr old daughter, who is Autistic.
The cops almost knocked my door down, based on the errorneous information received.
I would likte to educate the neighborhood of autism and the characteristics of autism. I want to keep my daughter safe, the neighborhood safe from my daughter, and also keep my son free from being scrutinzed by NCC Police Dept, when assisting with my daughter.
Austim is a disability that's more prevalant today and I think it would help to raise awareness with Raven
Glen residents, to avoid police attraction to our neighborhood.
