The new community gateway entrance sign is being planned to go up this year; the City is waiting on costs from the County in order for Jim Maddaffer to know what amount they’ll need to bring into the project. Thanks to Jim’s Office providing matching funds to the Grant from Ron Robert’s Office, our neighborhood will be able to have a beautiful and professional community sign. RVCC Representatives met with Rebecca Lester and her colleague that does landscape contracting to review possible plans for landscaping the area at Rock & College where the sign will be placed.
Deconstruction of the Taco Bell on College and University is just a re-build to reconfigure the drive thru.
Upcoming: Code Compliance Training will be held February 11th for anyone interested in being part of the Neighborhood Code Compliance Team. Please see Anna or Angela after the meeting. Currently there are 7 members participating. No member of the Board will be on the Team. All are welcome to come to the training being presented by the City’s Code Compliance Department.
