It IS mysterious that any proposal about the distribution of public funds is withheld from those who pay the taxes.  There can be only one of a few reasons:  incompetence, indifference, immorality, or i-ism (arrogance on the part of the person(s) in charge).

Yep; I think it is about time for the "High Sheriff" to get out of Dodge.

I am not a resident, but I am a Bellemeade property owner.  I do know the mayor and fully agree with those of you who say his governance is tainted by his arrogance.  It is very upsetting to see the value of my property degraded by what appears to be an incompetenet governing body.and ineffective leadership.  Furthermore, I am certainly reluctant to purchase any more property in the city knowing that those in "power" engage in such childish bickering with citizens who are well within their rights to request, or even demad, a public posting of a proposed budget. I certainly hope this does not get on TV.
