October Events Update

Saturday afternoon October 1st

We will be having a informal social get together at P.S. 139 on saturday late afternoon! If you are interested in attending, please email Ava! Bring your nice neighbors and your kids!

Saturday October 15th & 22nd 2005

Our next event will be on Saturday October 15th. That afternoon, (12:00pm-3:00pm) we will be doing It's My Park
Day at Willow Lake Playground next to PS 196 & the Grand Central in
Forest Hills. This is a casual, fun event, especially for the kids!
We will only do that event on that day.

I will be trying to get supplies from my FreecycleQueens group, and
if any of you are not on there, please see how you can donate supplies or any other help or something to do with the
kids/families.


On October 22nd, we will be doing a Queens Blvd median
cleanup/planting. We need help, supplies, and volunteers for that
too! We can not just always say it's dirty in Rego Park, we have to
do something about it! After we clean it up, we can try to stop
people from throwing their garbage anywhere outside! :)

These events are being done in collaboration with the Queens
Boulevard Restoration Group.
