Rally at City Hall for confiscation of Cellphones in Public Schools
When: Thursday May 11th, 2006 4:30 pm

*Cell phones have become an absolute necessity in this day and age of terrorism, transit strikes and student travel- Many children commute over an hour to get to their middle or high school. Cell phones do not cause crime so cannot be considered a weapon, which is the supposed reason for these searches.
The schools in Rego Park are extremely lacking in support, especially at the Middle and High School Level. Please join the fight to protect the youngsters in our community aand attend these events.
