On Tuesday June 11, 2002, the Reid Park Community came together for the installation of it's newly elected officers. These officers were installed at the regular monthly meeting on June 11, 2002. Mayor Pro-Tem, Patrick Cannon and District 3 City Councilman, Harold Cogdell performed the swearing-in ceremony. Congratulations to the 2002-2004 Reid Park Neighborhood Association officers.

team president, Harriette Mahoney did a wonderful job highlighting accomplishments that the Reid Park Neighborhood Association has made so far.

Reid Park Neighborhood Association was established September 5, 1984. The primary mission of Reid Park Neighborhood Association is to provide a mechanism and forum through which the issues and challenges affecting Reid Park's economic, political and social quality of life can be addressed.
Founding members of Reid Park Neighborhood Association were Marvin Woods,Treasurer; Ella Raye, Secretary (deceased), Robert Harris, and Rickey Hall, Sr, President.
