They are trying to get the property that was the church at Baymeadows and Craven rezoned for an assisted living facility. It will be am 80,000 SF, two story facility with 150 parking spaces. They are planning to level the wooded area. The city council will take the matter up on April 24 at 5 pm.  The zoning committee on May 1 at 5 pm.  

In my opinion, with the traffic and schools, this does not seem to be a fit for our community. It will change the residental nature around us and permit more intrusion on Baymeadows of a commercial nature.   They just built an assisted living facility south of Baymeadows on San Jose. They are planning a similar one on our corner.
