Great meeting to all who attended. Nice to see new faces who care about Cambridge.

But the numbers are still low compared to the 170+ homeowners currently residing here.

What should we do to get others to attend?

Have the meetings as scheduled

Michelle,
Many of us rearranged our schedules to attend the meeting on the first date it was scheduled only to arrive to a locked building. My husband and I sat in the parking lot for 25 minutes waiting for the doors to be unlocked which did not happen. The second meeting was announced by way of a flyer stuffed in the mailbox which did not have a date or anything. We are often out of town and don't get a chance to check the mail everyday so to announce that the meeting was moved to ''next Thursday'' meant nothing to us. Unfortunately we got the flyer late and showed up for the meeting the week after it was held. A simple date on the flyer would have cleared that matter up. You have to realize that when people began to perceive something as ''unprofessional'' it makes their interest in participating decline.

HOA MEETINGS

Anonymous:

I apologize about the inconvience of the last HOA meeting. Unfortunatley, I had no control of the situation. Currently someone else handles arranging the meetings. I however did volunteer to call the building coordinator the morning of our scheduled meetings to insure that the building will be opened as planned. I was ensured that this matter is taken care of.

Our funds are low due to many things that I will not go into, so currently it is not feasible to do mailings. Not sure what happened about the date on the flyer, but we will ensure in the future that proper information will be included. Now, with this website we will also be able to post meetings (and changes here) for the convience of all the homeowners. Please check out the community calendar link frequently for dates.

Again I apologize and hope you continue to be part of the meetings.
