2011 is here and we have not finished taking care of business for 2010, yet. We the homeowners, still have four problems that need taking care of ASAP. All four of these problems need our attention now. I will be starting some new discussions, and I hope your will join in with me in discussing the problems we have in our association. There is nothing wrong with our associaon we can't fix, if we will just show more interest in what is going on in our association. Here are the four problems I see we have.

1. Attorney at Law Robert D. Roache, II.
This Attorney MUST not do any more business for the River Run Homeowners Association. I believe once you find out what is taking place in River Run you will agree.
2. Board of Directors.
We have NO Board of Directors in River Run, and have not had any since December 31, 2008. NO Association, no matter which one, can not do any business without Board of Directors.
3. Budget/Assessments.
In most cases, the homeowners MUST approve a Budget before an Assessment can be made against the homeowners. It has got to the point where the homeowners don't see the budget before the assessment, let alone being asked to approve the budget.
4. Meetings.
In 2011, and maybe from now on, the River Run Homeowners Association needs to have Monthly Meetings. We have a lot of business to take care of in 2011.

What I would like to know is when is the association going to leave? I see a lot of other nighborhoods that have no homeowners association and they are holding together fine. I get tired of having to pay for something and then be told I can or can't do it. Times are tough and eben paying dues is getting tougher. I am at the point that i will sell my house and "get out of dodge" as all i see is the same stuff. Kids are taking over and more houses getting abandoned. I know its like this everywhere but I am getting to where I think it is time to say goodbye to the association for good.

Why did it take 1 1/2 months and 4 messages for the "association" to return my phone call?  Are you aware of the audit the new management group recently ran on the homeowners in River Run?
