I noticed on New Year's Day that during the wee hours of the morning, someone had smashed in both of our security lights that are attached to the house by the garage doors. They busted the glass and bulbs and dented the decorative fixtures. They did this to about 5 other random houses on our street (Stillwater Trail). It happened some time after 1:00am because we were at our Neighbor's house New Years Eve and got home around 12:30. Our lights were on and fine then. I stayed up until around 1:00a checking my emails, so it happened sometime after that. Really urks me!

The vandalism that you describe started occurring Christmas Eve and has continued ever since. We have been hit three times (San Joaquin Trail - multiple houses) and at 2:15 am Jan 2 my husband was able to chase the three teenage boys who are responsible for this. He was able to convince one of them to sit on the sidewalk and wait for the police to arrive. During this time the boy was yelling back and forth to his cohorts that had ran into the woods. We learned that 2 of the boys are brothers and they were calling each other by the names of Chris, Steve and Brian. One of the 2 that were hiding came out and sat on the sidewalk with the other one. When they heard the police sirens they both took off running and my husband chased them. In the process (due to the lack of the street lights not working) he tripped over a curb and they got away. He ended up breaking his left elbow, his right wrist and hit his head ending up with a concussion. These boys have caused a tremendous amount of damage to the neighborhood that not only includes the damaging of security lights, but also front porch lights, christmas decorations and breaking into cars and stealing their contents. It is very possible there are many people who do not realize that there is any damage to their property. If at all possible you might want to approach your neighbors and make sure they are aware of the damage. After that everyone needs to call the police department and file a report. A detective has been assigned to the crime spree so everyone who has been targeted needs to report it so once they are caught they won't just receive just a slap on the wrist. If you have high school age children please ask them if they know any kids with the above names who hang out together.

A report can be filed by calling the following number: 817.335.4222. Let them know that the report needs to be linked to all of the other incidents that have occurred over the past week and a half.

If you have any other questions, feel free to send me an email.

What do you mean that you ''have deleted all information that was posted listing names of those possibly involved with these actions?''
vandalism

There were several names of kids mentioned that people thought might be involved. Some of their parents got pretty upset, understandably, when they saw their kids names on here. Webmaster removed them since there werent needed.
