He is my husband and I was just kidding around by commenting on his post.

Mailboxes can be changed to individual house to house boxes by petitioning the post office .  These mailboxes were set up by the original home builder they were supposed to be temporary by petitioning the post office has no choice but  to change them.  Mailboxes that are house to house are a benefit to the homeowner and would remove those ugly boxes from the street.  I personally doubt anyone would ever take the time to petition and have them removed.  The post office is saving money with these boxes so good luck getting them removed !!!!!!!!!!!!GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!
