Our truck was hit this week in the neighborhood and left signficant damage and no information was left. Wouldn't it be nice if we lived in a world where people would own up if you damaged someone else's property! Does anyone know if you can file a police report for a hit and run for a vehicle that was parked and how?

I would think you could call the police non-emergency number. They should be able to tell you what you need to do.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS REPORT ANY CRIME TO FORT WORTH POLICE. THEY MIGHT NOT DO ANYTHING, BUT THE REPORT GETS PUT IN THEIR COMPUTER. IF THERE ARE ENOUGH REPORTS, THEN THEY WILL RESPOND. REPORT EVERYTHING. |
