Boy arent we being possessive. What ever happened to community spirit and bonding and making friends. Not to mention being with our families. With the cost of gas these days a quick trip to the pond sure makes for a nice evening out.
In my opinion (which I am entitled to) HOA groups are just a bunch of wanna be politicians with nothing better to do. I have yet to see any good come from one in this neighborhood. The police are useless for the most part until a true serious crime happens - And then there is the people obsessing about ATV's in the back - BOTHERING NOONE!
Whatever happened to community spirit? Friendships? Let people fish, play, and most of all bond. Thats what makes a community stronger and that is what is seriously missing from ALL parts of River Trails no matter which side of Trinity Blvd you live on.
If the HOA is so worried about people fishing or riding or just being NORMAL human beings then they should get out there and make attempts to meet people and get others involved. This is also what will prevent thefts and vandalism in our neighborhoods which is obviously a serious problem right now based on other reports on the website and from my own experience.
Oh, and by the way, the lake that touches Precinct Line Rd. is NOT owned by the HOA!, I have done my research and it is privately owned but is also fed by the Trinity River and therefore Public property according to the STATE of Texas !!!!
