TEXANS AGAINST CRIME 

 OCTOBER 14TH

This years "National Night Out" is being replaced by "Texans Against Crime".  Texans Against Crime is a night for residents to come out and celebrate with neighbors and local police the fight against crime.  Every year residents throughout the neighborhood host block parties in support.  It's a great way to meet your neighbors and some local police officers. But, most of all it shows criminals that we mean business when it comes to looking out for one another.  One of the best crime deterrents is simply knowing your neighbors.

If you would like to host a block party please follow the link below and fill out the registration form.  The police department will give those who register, goodies and give-aways to distribute (While supplies last, so register early). Registering also places your party on the visit list for the police department and a photographer may stop by as well. 

If you do register your party, please send an email to Melissa McDougall at mcadomk@yahoo.com.  We like to keep a list of those that are hosting parties. We have a company that is donating a home security device as a give-away at every block party.  By letting us know of your party, we can be sure that you get one for yours.
