On December 27, 2008 I took 7 items into Comet Cleaners to be dry cleaned. From the beginning there were issues with my purchase ticket. The sales girl, Angela (which is no longer employed there) put the wrong name and phone number on the ticket, which I immediately had corrected. I was supposed to pick it up that Monday and instead went on Tuesday. My items were still not bagged and ready to be picked up; instead she had to go to the back to look for it. After she finally found those items and bagged them up I paid and left. I live next door to the facility and as soon as I got home I noticed my $80.00 Guess label dress was missing so I went right back up there with a picture of it for them to try and look for it. This issue went on for approximately 3 weeks of which I was calling or going back to the store almost every day for an answer and kept getting the run around. My mom had been corresponding with them as well while I was at work. On Jan. 16, 2009 my mom went to the store a final time for the sales girl to get the owner (Azeez) on the phone. He was extremely disrespectful toward her and said he was not going to give me any reimbursement for my dress. He also told her that he didn't care if he lost my business because it was my first time in there and he didn't know me. I had let him know the week before that I would report him to the BBB and he proceeded to tell my mom on Jan 16 that he had dealt with the BBB for 20 years and didn't care if I reported him. On top of his unwillingness to cooperate with customers he was practically yelling at her and using a threatening tone as if he didn't ever want me in his store again. Hopefully this will encourage old, as well as prospective customers to NOT use this place!!
