Elderly Grand Prairie woman raped and set on fire after letting in individual.  He told her he was a college student trying to earn points.  Apparently he told others in the neighborhood he was selling magazines.

This is why we need to be very careful when dealing with these people.

I agree!  Is it just me or are they becoming more frequent and more aggressive in their sales pitch?

Whenever I answer the door, I make sure my 3 dogs are standing close by, and none of them like strangers. 

A "How to handle Neighborhood Panhandlers" Class will be held Saturday April 11th at River Trails Park at the West end of Creede Trail. It starts at 11 am.

The class is combined with a "How to Prevent a Home Invasion".  Both are presented by Fort Worth Police Dept. and hosted by RTHA and CODE BLUE.

Bring a chair or blanket as seating is very limited.
