The women were out there again on Friday, May 08. One of the ladies was standing out in the middle of the street, waving her hands and standing in front of cars to get them to stop. I stopped and rolled down my window and she proceeded to give me a sob story about how she had her twins in the car and needed money for gas. I said that I didn't have any money and then she asked if I at least had some change. I again answered no and drove away. I saw a FTW police car on the other side of the bridge (he had pulled someone over) and told him about the women and he informed me that he already spoke to them and rolled up his window. Obviously, he didn't care and the women didn't either because they were still doing it. It sure seems like the police department is only interested in our area when there is the potential to make some money for the city (e.g., speed traps on Trinity and now Precinct right before Randol Mill).
