Husband and I was turning from Randol Mill to precinct and SHe was right there on the corner asking for gas money. Husband slowed down and our window was down and she was flagging us down. We didn't stop but I quickly dialed 911 and had my husband turn around. I was going to get license number and they took off. The more everyone calls the police the better. The more calls they get from our neighborhood they might decide to put a FWPD sub station in closer.

The women were out there again on Friday, May 08.  One of the ladies was standing out in the middle of the street, waving her hands and standing in front of cars to get them to stop.  I stopped and rolled down my window and she proceeded to give me a sob story about how she had her twins in the car and needed money for gas.  I said that I didn't have any money and then she asked if I at least had some change.  I again answered no and drove away.  I saw a FTW police car on the other side of the bridge (he had pulled someone over) and told him about the women and he informed me that he already spoke to them and rolled up his window.  Obviously, he didn't care and the women didn't either because they were still doing it.  It sure seems like the police department is only interested in our area when there is the potential to make some money for the city (e.g., speed traps on Trinity and now Precinct right before Randol Mill).

I saw them Friday night too.  I called the non-emergency fort worth police number and filed a complaint.  I was told that they would send an officer - I'm not sure if they did or not.  There was no way I was going to stop and roll down my window for those 2 women.  I didn't see any kids in the back seat.  I'd have to guess they were trying to get some money for the weekend!

I also seen them again Friday night about 7pm. As I passed by there was a FWPD car leaving them. In my opinion, I think we should just keep calling the FWPD everytime we see these ladies or any others doing this. Maybe it will run them away from our neighborhood.
