River Trails Homeowners Association

What exactly is going on with the whole lake situation!  My son who is 11 and his 11 year old friend have been going to the lake fishing since it was first "made".  They were not hurting anyone or anything.  I drop them off and pick them up, they do not leave a mess and they do not bother anyone there.  Yet the "Security Guard" told them last week that they had to leave and he better not see them there again.  Of course my son called me immediately, although when I show up the security guard leaves!!!  Why are they being so absurd about the lake, from what I hear the LORT people pay quarterly dues is there not away for them to include the RT neighbors into this if it is such an issue!  Since when is the dividing line in a subdivision so important to people, will it get to the point where RT and LORT won't be able to drive on the alloted streets of each others subdivisions!  Give me a break!  Seriously I wish I had nothing to do with my life but worry about silly things like who's at the lake!  If children are trying to enjoy nature and not bothering anyone LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!  Concentrate on the Crime in the area and let the good kids be good.  Kids get in trouble when mean adults take away the things they enjoy doing!! 

And their dues go toward paying for mr pond patrol.   If I had paid my dues, I would be ticked off knowing my money was going towards paying some pond patrol nerd to watch over the sidewalk.  Everyone needs to go out there and jog and sit around and have a good time.  The police cannot do one dang thing about it.  If he approaches me I plan to ignore him and told my kids to yell Sranger Danger and yell PERVERT if he approaches them.
