I live on San Joaquin and for 2 weeks I have had someone else's dog mess in my yard and neighbors yard.  I don't believe it's a stray, but I'm tired of cleaning up someone else's mess from there animal.  I'm letting you know by this bullention if the dog is caugh by me and it has tags (or not) I will personal drive it to the animal shelter.  We have a leash law for a reason

Report it to Animal control and they will have a record. On the next occasion they will come out and warn the person or take the dog. I had the same problem and thats all you have to do.

It might be as simple as someone walking their dog and not cleaning up after it.  I believe that is a code violation or some kind of city violation because it could have biological implications.  From what I've heard, if someone is caught not cleaning up after their dog and it leaves a solid present behind, they can be cited.  it doesn't take much to take a sandwich or old walmart grocery bag with you, turn it inside out around your hands, and pick it up.  Close up the bag, and no smell & no fuss, no muss.
