About 1:30p, I decided to take a quick walk around the block since it was a nice day out. Noticed a policewoman on a horse on Creede Trail talking to 2 white males (appeared to be 19/20 years old, brown hair - one in red shirt/white hat).
She was done talking to them as I passed her and told her 'Glad to see her around the neigborhood'.
She mentioned that she had stopped the boys as they were illegally soliciting for money but had no permits/licence to do so and they had actually gotten some money from somebody. Said it has been known for someone to drop off a van load of kids into a neighborhood to go soliciting for money.
She told them to call their ride to come pick them up - and of course, they said they didn't have a phone to call with (uh, huh) and then told them to go sit on the corner and wait for this person to come pick them up. I found them sitting at the corner of Tiber & Creede - only to see one of them eventually get on a cell phone and then both got up to walk away towards Saranac Trail shortly thereafter (2p-ish).
Per a previous write-up I saw posted, Office Speed says that "those selling door-to-door MUST have a license & permit from the City of Ft Worth, otherwise it is illegal. Also, ask them for their company ID that they are selling for -if they are legit, they will show it to you."
