Sorry,  I read a lot and do not post much anymore.  It is sad how little the people of River Trails care.

Why hasn't the code blue team gone door to door introducing themselves and try to get new members?  I have lived here almost fifteen years and have yet to meet anyone from this board.  I emailed to volunteer and never got an email back.

I'm sorry, I do not live in the back and did not know of the fires until I read it here.  If there is anything my family can do to help let us know.

thank you so much for your concern. as for code blue, this is the first i have heard of it. i am not sure what can be done,it seems as if garage ,sales ,picnics  ,and car shows along with yard of the month are the only thing on the HOA mind. if its not magazine perfect or fun so it ca be bragged on it doesn't get taken care of. again thank you.

I am also sorry to hear about the fires being set in the fields.  That is so dangerous.  I remember when the fences were built by Candy-o's property and how frustrated she was.  Our HOA told her that they were not responsible for putting up those fences.  Of course we all knew that was a lie.  Now that we all know they are responsible for placing them there,  they need to take it down and clean up back there.  Our neighborhood safety is more important than yard of the month or an annual picnic.  You probably dont have enough money in the kitty anymore to take care of issues like this because no one is joining...why?  Because we have been lied to and not responded to.  I dont even know who the President is anymore?  I heard his name......is he still President?  If you are going to run for office,  you need a plan for growth.  Walk door to door.  Talk to the people.  Listen.  Do something.

tcb, I feel the same way, the HOA is turning into a bad joke it seems.  I think part of the problem is the HOA is voluntary and nobody gives a crap anymore because it seems nobody at the HOA cares either.  I & some of my neighbors fully support going mandatory as long as it's economical, and guess what happens when people have to pay into an HOA (just like 99% of other neighborhoods that are nice places to live)---when you have to invest, you demand more for your $.
